i think i better put my thoughts on the recent 'not-so-current' affairs down. if not i will forget abt it.

I actually hope i don't have to graduate next year, coz i think if i come out, i dunno who would want me. US is in deep shit. i remember last year's lecturer from the UK giving us revision lectures telling us, Europe was laughing at the US. damn. whos laughing now? i think the whole world is crying! Fannie Mae= Funny Meh? lets hope the bailout plan works.. but as of today. the markets are going down down down.

These Serang**n Gardens people are just damn irritating. not only are they elites, they are racists and whiners. complain complain complain. everyday complain. just one question to shut you all up. who the hell built your stupid houses? you think u built it yourselves? its those very people u all are complaing high and low about! yes, some of the foreign workers may become rowdy after drinks. but wad u expect man.. u all got money go to bars, pubs. they dun! they need to chill man. they work as hard as u all do. why dun u all just give them a chance? they are miles away from home.. put yourselves in their shoes man.. during the meet and greet session shown on news, it pains me.. to see these people acting like barbarians. challenging the poor MP standing in front. wad has happened? is dis the graciousness that your parents taught you? or is that the graciousness that u all are going to impart to your children? it doesnt mean that u got some money, u can push people around.. haiz..

Shame on them again. time and time again, China has proved that cheap is not necessarily good. how many times have we heard dis phrase in hokkien? 'yu pi, yu chi, yu ai dua liap ni, ko ai zhao lui'? (want cheap, want fresh, want big breasts, still want change). its very sickening that these unscrupulous corporations actually do this kind of things. its quite sad right? im sure the Directors of the corporation dare not drink their own bloody milk they manufacture. i say the china govt should just life imprison these assholes and make them drink the tainted milk powder thruout the sentence! isnt it sad..? its like being a hawker and being afraid to eat wad u cook. its the same for China-made cars. look at those cheap Chery QQs. i shudder to imagine wad would happen if u crash in them. In short, they look for short term profits. they dun care who dies. who lives. they just want their profits. and they dun expect to be in the business for too long like Toyota or Honda. they just want their profits, get it and pack up. go into another short term business. TGIF
both audrey and i took leave from our( i mean her) busy work to take a break and smell the flowers. haha. we actually planned to go to the HSBC treetop walk at macritchie reservoir. but in the end we went to mount faber and walked all the way to Hort Park.
the walk up to mount faber was a killer. for me. audrey was so bloody hyped up like some little small girl urging her grandpa up the steep marang trial stairs. (im the old grandpa FYI). haha its sick man! i walk until my quads were like screaming. lol. things were much easier once we reached the top of mount faber. we trudged along the route with yellow foot prints and b4 we knew it, we hit henderson waves.
oh ya b4 audrey comes pulling my ears.. my sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet gf prepared cocktail sausages wrapped with melted cheeeeeeese and also made sandwiches wif peppercorn ham. wahaha. we gobbled the sausages all up when we hit the 'summit' of MOUNT faber (which is even shorter den hills in some countries).
we reached henderson waves. the TALLEST pedestrain bridge in singapore. haha played along the wooden waves.. think audrey did it the best. really like she surfing. did the jumping shots at the henderson waves sign too. i failed a couple. (coz the photographer was louyaaaaaaaaa) haha.

after henderson waves. we went in search of alexandra arch. the signs werent very clear.. and there not yellow foot prints to follow. haha. apparently to get to the AA, we had to walk dis forest trail. it was cool (to audrey). but dreadful to me. u see im afraid of heights. the trail was made of metal grilles and u can actually look down. much like adidas climacool. so the wind can blow from below. HELL IT WAS SCARY. i keep thinking how i was going to die if the structure gives way due to my weight. LOL.

last last saturday, me, drey, will, dewei and jolyn had Tampopo at Liang court.i tell u guys. dis jap rest is like DE BEST one i have been so far. it puts sakae, sakura all dis to SHAME. food pics are over at william's blog. i have some not as nice as his pics. haha after dat we went to dis chillout place called Suburbia at sentosa. nice place and good service. confirm will visit Mark there again. the chocolate cakes are SEDAP! once again. food pics are over at will's blog. he very sell fish one. dun send me pictures one. okok.. i hear u all complaining..' dis kelvin tng ar... dunno have blog for wad one..?' but listen to me man.. i did DAMN a lot of things during dis absence.. i realised i just sold my life to a dog. haha
THIS DOG!!!
we brought scruffy for sterilisation, which the nurses at the vet kept saying its CASTRATION. come on man... his dick is still there! hahaha.
actually the above post was kept in draft for the longest time.. i actually wanted to blog abt ECP trip last sat. but when we removed the E collar for scruffy, he began biting his wound. and in the end it bled. we were quite shocked and the vet was closed. but luckily the line was diverted and the frenly nurse came down to administer some medicine for scruffy. that idiot. self mutilate. now he has to bear with the e collar again.
scruffy is very fierce towards other dogs, audrey's neightbour has a daschund, and she wanted to make fren wif scruffy, but scruffy wanted to attack her. its a very big problem i think. i just dun understand why is he so aggresive towards dogs. hmmm... and is there anyway to let him be together with dogs?

4 days to scruffy's homecoming. 11/07/2008
vet gave an all-clear for dear scruffy. we had one whole sunday monday and a little afternoon running around wif scruffy to get his stuff. vet fees costs a bomb! $158!! good thing is dat scruffy doesnt have any heartworm.. we bought a carrier coz his fur keep shedding in my car..
scruffy is geting used to us now. really hope he still remembers us come dis saturday. my challenge will be training him. but 1st.. i would have to gain his trust 1st.. not a very easy thing to do.. coz i think he have some bad history.. he is still very guai in a way, he doesnt poop or pee in the house.. and also doesnt bark.. but gotta work on listening to us. 1st things 1st, he will have to learn how to work with me aka heel.

Scruffy
went to ying ying's aunt's place today.. drey is adopting the dog! ( subject to wad the vet says tomolo...) we named it scruffy! haha the dog is so guai.. doesnt bark at home.. very skinny.. and poor thing.. my fear of dogs simply evaporated away.. coz there is no bloody way this dog can harm me.. i even carried it and put it on my lap.. will update the vet's visit tomolo.. really hope everything goes well.

hey guys. im home now.. for the past 2 days. i slept the moment i came home. i never even have the mood to turn my comp on. i guess im still not used to work. im like yawnz.. everyday in office i feel like sleeping...
me and drey watched Wanted last night. not a bad show. but DAMN BLOODY GORY! omg.. its like blood here and there.. in slow-mo... wow. haha audrey has been pondering whether she should get a jack russell that was found by a fren's aunt. she has always wanted a dog.. but due to the internet.. they keep discouraging ppl from getting JRTs.. especially 1st timers.. now audrey is having 2nd tots.. well i understand coz wif a dog.. we have to have more responsibility.. like discipline to walk the dog even when shes tired.. and also.. the poor dog would have to be left alone at home.. when audrey's out to work.. coz nobody is at home..
isnt it funny? sometimes u want the thing so so much.. but cant get it.. (parents object.. or financial issues) but when you break that barrier stopping u from getting it.. u start to have 2nd tots.. thats the thing wif us.. things that dun belong to us.. we keep thinking its good and yearn for it. but when its in our possession. it becomes.... boring. tsk tsk.. why like dat ar? haha

weekends over!!
halo ppl!! amazingly theres not much monday blues for me today! maybe its the excessive excercise. haha i tell u.. its amazing.. i woke up to the sound of thunder and rain yesterday morning.. i was so hyped up for soccer.. and the rain only serves to dampen my mood. i checked the internet.. 3 hours outlook din look good.. and the whole of singapore is being blanketed by rain. looks highly possible dat i wun get to play soccer liao. but the rain cleared by 1pm. SHIOKS!
i promised danil to be early for them. and i was! although mr lim how boon the MIA-dun-wanna-sms-me-back kia reached 1st. haha soon luq came and danil they all came. we started 1st. played GK. not too bad made couple of saves. den got bored and played my usual role. had a very good games yesterday. finally regain my touch. thanks to weijian's online prep talk. haha. got rammed in my stomach by LJ and hit my balls too. damn pain sia.. soccer was over at 7pm. madness 5 hours of it.
by the time it finished i realised i never eat anything at all. and i have tennis at 8pm.! so i walked home from simpang and cook instant noodles, pick up my racket and walked to safra. played tennis with sharmain gan and zhihong. by the time it ended at 10pm. i was not half dead, i was maybe 7/8 or 9/10 dead. haha. it was like an exercise day for me yesterday. my pigu muscles are starting to ache now.. haha
saturday: went to dentist in the morning.. my tooth is almost done. another week and it will be done(also mean 800bucks fly). haha after that go chinatown book genting trip. yay! our 1st trip alone. had dinner wif law ong and TAN WEI LIAN ( the dick who had 20 missed calls.) haha. one stupid civic driven by a lady made my heart shoot up to my throat. damn bloody bitch. haha
all in all..I THINK I HAD A SUPER WEEKEND! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TGIF
once again.. im looking forward to fridays. in my schooling days.. friday is just like any normal day for me.. coz i study only 3 days? hahaha.
i started working.. at cedele.. at the hq.. working as an accounts asst. title is nice only. actually i'm a filer. wtf.. my 4th day here(coz they believe tuesday is auspicious day to start work). environment here is very solemn.. very dead.. cant talk loudly.. etc.. nobody says good morning to each other.. tension is very high. of course theres the female lady boss.. who cant live a day without scolding ppl. hahaha lucky not scold me.. phew..... everyday im so tired when i reach home. i dun even have much mood to go online.. i guess my body needs some time to adjust coz i was like sleeping at 4am playing joint ops wif luq and waking up like 2pm. haha
the root canal has been done for my tooth. i will be going to do crowning tomolo. sucks man.. the cost is so bloody high. total cost 800. my god. why the fuck did that moron kick a fucking ball at me when im playing the trumpet. all dis money could have been put into better use man..
ok enuff of ranting.. i think shiying is rigght.. i create blog to complain only. hahaha

crazy world.
the whole world seems to be crazy. for one. i think most of my family members are. one overshot her sms by 1100+. but instead of blaming her for not sending her smses wisely.. her beloved mother blamed singtel. SINGTEL GIVE ONLY 500 SMS WHERE GOT ENOUGH!? hmmm 500 not enuff? of course not enuff when u sms things like. 'wad u doing?' suayest day..
i think 13th May 2008 is my suayest day ever. its my management maths paper today. paper is 2.30pm. i left my home at around 1.15pm after packing my bag. meeting desmond at 1.50pm at control station. while in 14. jason called me.. and go thru the things we need to bring. when he mentioned CALCULATOR. i rummaged thru my bag for it. ALAS. I DIN BRING MY CALCULATOR! I PANICKED. HOLY SHIT KELVIN TNG U ARE TAKING A MATHS PAPER AND U FORGOT YOUR CALCULATOR!
i asked jason to help me find one. and immediately called Danil. luckily.. he still at expo.. apparently he stayed back after his maths 1 paper to eat lunch. phew.. i got my calculator from him.. Thanks bro.. if never get from you i would have panicked all the bloody way to expo.
den after walking ten gazillion years from mrt station to Hall 1. i walk to the board to find my candidate number and name. there were millions of ppl there. crowded and stuffy. and somemore i haven fully recover from my flu. so i was blurred. i look and look for my candidate number C6656. wtf. dun have.. i search again. holy shit. WHERES MY NAME!?!?!? i couldnt find my fucking name!!!!!!!!! i panicked again. tmd. its 2.15 already. and the person sitting at the table seems like he dunno anything. i waited till about 2.20pm den ask the guy. he also blur blur one.
lucky got one more laojiao invigilator come by.. and gave me another seat.
after 2 panic attacks.. i went into the hall totally exhausted.. saw the 1st question.. got a shock of my life. calmed myself down.. and skipped.. phew.. in the end.. in a paper where u choose 5 out of 8...(i studied only 5). i managed to finish 5 of my questions.. a pass is secured.. i hope for a B..

part2.
just after blogging, i went to wash the car together wif daniel. i fell.. again.. it seems bad at 1st.. i tumbled down an entire flight of stairs. its shitty.. now my butt has lacerations all over.. it even hurt to sit down. damn sian.. coz of the stupid slipper.. now i noe why is it called a slipper. coz make makes u slip. like fuck. pui.
just came home after fetching my parents at beach road. sometimes i really hate to try so hard. wads the use of trying so hard, when at the end, u always get shit? we'll never get praised for things done, rather the 1st thing they come back, is to pick on things that we DIDn't do. u like windows opened, i open it. u wan the washing machine empty, i emptied it. but the 1st thing u shouted when u see that there clothes hung up is. ' U ALL NEVER KEEP THE CLOTHES FROM THAT DAY!?' take a moment and think. things would be so different if u said, 'wow u all washed the clothes already? thank you.' it would have been so different.
but nooooooooooooooo, i wonder is it just my family or other ppl have this same problem. some newspapers misplaced, also kena. den wad for i try so hard? sick and tired of all dis. really. butt still hurts like fuck. damn it how to sit thru lecture tomolo like dat?

Firstly i wanna congratulate my boss, Shufi for getting 2nd runner up in the freestyle segment of talentquest 2008. i also wanna tell the whole world how screwed up NUS is. 1stly, the thing was supposed to start at 6pm. but up till 6.30pm, nobody knows where to go in by and also nobody even came out to tell the ppl waiting outside that they have a technical glitch or something and the show will be delayed. even their guest of honour, the science dean have to stand outside and wait. wow, when did u see guest of honour waiting outside? GOH put for show one? in the end, also end up like us who paid 12 bucks. SECOND, the voting system, it will take probably 10 seconds to realise that the committee doesnt give a shit about how the contestants perform. coz in the freestyle segment, votes count for 50% of the results. ya ya, some of u might be saying yea wads wrong? i haven told u that VOTES CAN BE BOUGHT! i mean WAD THE FUCK? one vote 50cts. each ticket stub is entitled 2 votes. its just so unfair.
The quality of the show is also lousy as hell becoz of the vote buying system. check out the N dance group. wtf? can they dance? wake up your idea la.. go back to school, making up, nursing. dun dance. spare the humanity of earth. there was a minor earthquake of richter 7.1 when u all danced. stop gyrating too. its damn gross. thank god i din eat before going in. or else i would puke on the spot. heard from ppl that this group cant even get into the finals. but they bought their way in. yawnz. i noe the science club is poor.. but resorting to this just puts u down. ultimately a very bad day.. and charging 12 bucks for that tic. u gotta be kidding.

Parents gone to Genting again.. so tired of eating outside food, i decided to cook a simple meal for my sisters. haha, cooked potatoes and luncheon meat with beaked beans. tasted not too bad. haha and also fired some eggs. thats wad i call a simple meal. =)

Carousel 28032008
Audrey took leave on friday to have a birthday lunch with me.. since the last time we had Carousel was my last birthday. we decided to have it again dis year. Ambience is unchanged. Service is still lightning quick.. the staff is very courteous.. but everytime you go take some food, they would fold your napkin nicely again. so actually felt quite bad, coz ultimately i come back i unfold it. so fold for wad?? hahah. food was almost the same.. but they took out Oysters... and that single crustacean was sorely missed by me... =( nonetheless a very nice meal wif nice company and nice service staff. Pictures are below.. and are all taken by my Nokia N82 which incidentally is bought by Audrey. =) Really love the phone man.. 5.0megapixel camera with xenon flash.. ability to upload photos direct from my phone to Flickr. thats damn solid man!
