friday yesterday!! shiok! friday is always the thing i look forward to every week coz it marks the start of my long weekend. haha yesterday aint anything diff, but i had lotsa things to do. brought the toyota tha(i)ltis to leng kee for repairs. the damn car less den 1 year got orange stains on leather seats. really a crap car. was helped by audrey's cousin, jason who works in leng kee with lexus.although the service waiting rooms are just next door to each other.. u could feel the sense of wealth.. dunno how to describe. the lexus room was not much ppl. and ppl serving coffee to u! toyota one is super crowded and self service. thats the diff! haha left the car in their hands for a day, they said they need to change the entire seats!
after that me and audrey took a shuttle bus to queensway and den had breakfast. went down to vivocity after that. it was 9.30am. madness, the air con damn cold. and bo lang! vivocity was ours!!! muahahahhaa. shops were closed. even GV... damn it. anyway we watched Step Up, a dancing movie done by ppl whom we never see b4. but the guy lead looks like john cena from WWE. haha. the story was kinda predictable, although i think if this movie landed in korean director's hands. the male lead would either die or be crippled. kinda sad that these ppl staying in the ghettos expericence.. not good at all..
oh yea i forgot to add that b4 the movie we went to the sky garden for photo shots. haha kinda nice place yea, den u can dip your feet into the pool and sit by the side, nice feeling. hmmm after the movie the shops all opened. GAP was nice! but kinda ex.. considering its giordano of the states, have been there so i noe how cheap those things are. bought myself a watch. those 10 dollars kind, but it looks good seriously. haha after that we went to the playground.. there was this cuteeeeeeeeee little girl playing wif water. we stood there like 15 mins just wacthing the girl play! amazing. walked around and den head back to leng kee.
collected the car was amazed that they REALLY changed the seats. now my car got new car smell! hahaha. pays to noe ppl in borneo, if not the svc really suck. after dat we went for dinner wif mr yong and shuzz, our treat coz they gave us the performance bonus.. dinner was at the zhi char stall in chinatown. sedap! haha afterwhich we walk walk around chinatown and mr yong went to those old shops and buy...... HAPPY FAMILY, DONKEY, OLD MAID, SNAP cards! old skool sia!! but surely brought back memories. since nows the time primary skool end exams. and the time when these cards are brought to skool to play! haha we went to coffe club in siglap for fondue.. and den played happy family and old maid to which audrey was both times... OLD MAID. wahahahaha!!
headed home and ended my night wif yahoo graffitti with hy, dan, stephanie and also literati. nice and tiring day! nice till i just woke up. wahahaha till den...................

siong weekend..
i just had my siongest weekend since ORD. it was tough.. especially the 1st day. i was working for The Event Company - TEC. Mr Yong introed me to dis 3 day job. and i got audrey zq and desmond to work together. attended briefing on thursday.. got to know we were actually working for a WDA - Workforce Development Agency roadshow. at toa payoh hDB hub. was attached to shuzz whom i know since tk band days. so i tot it was be kinda breezer.
1st day 3rd nov
was supposed to be there at 10am. had a direct bus from my bus stop.. but audrey was late.. coz of the temesek poly students which hogged the 69 bus. not knowing how long the direct bus would take us. we took the MRT. reached on the dot. din manage to get breakfast. i got down to work fast. being a stage hand- something i was good at. was in charge of preparing the prizes for the stage games and also the arranging of props for the stage games and also the short skit by Irene Ang aka Mrs Phua Chu Kang. while i was quite happy wif my job.. someone wasnt..
audrey who was supposed to be at the gift redemption counter was swapped to be a surveyor. and she was wearing that charles and keith shoe dat gave her terrible blisters. and the quota that day was 38. which they thought was terrible. at the end of the day.. i was tired she was tired.. = a quarrel. damn sian.. din noe wad i could do. went to bed tired..
2nd day 4th nov
the 2nd day of roadshow, took 59 there. took onli 30 mins! damn fast! had breakfast at BK. audrey was wearing far more comfortable shoes. still a little angry with me though. but nonetheless she still brought awfully chocolate cake for me to eat. haha. but guess wad? the 2nd blow came. a quota of 50 ! its was classic madness. but they throw in cash incentive of 20 bucks for ppl who hit quota. i was helpless. i saw audrey suffering but i could not have in anything. the survey was a killer! 6 pages. crazy. even if surveyors were harworking. the public wasnt so patient. 2nd day was far more busy for me. and the ntuc trolley of items was starting to rot. anyway(s) audrey hit target. mr yong gave a uplifting closure at the end of the day. praising the surveyors, knowing that everyone was shagged out. but the speech gave everyone extra strength and motivation. sounds like tk band. haha
3rd day 5th nov
the schedule was exactly the same as sat. everyone was hyped up. it was the last stretch. surveyors who hit quota on sat onli had a quota of 20 on sunday. so it was shiok. 20 compared to 50 the previous day was chicken feed. but for me, the nightmare just began. lotsa unused stock. and we had to give tissue paper like toilet paper. of course saw ugly singaporeans again. when i offered them, they will give u the 'how much' look and walk away. until i say the magic words. 'ITS FREE'. they actually turn back and take! tsk tsk tsk.. end of the day we had to pack up and although we were tired. morale was high.
Conclusion.
one thing i notice abt the toa payoh estate is.. there is a unusually high concentration of mental ppl here.. no offence to ppl staying there. but this was wad i noticed. very scary. when we were packing the bottles into the bags, the ppl standing behind was crazy! like wad the emcee patrick said to me. 'its like resident evil + silent hill' hahaha absolutely hilarious. though work was tough.. was happy overall coz i got the performance bonus of an extra hundred bucks. audrey too. im already looking forward to dec 1st, vivocity's grand opening! till den... ciao!
