Carousel 28032008

Audrey took leave on friday to have a birthday lunch with me.. since the last time we had Carousel was my last birthday. we decided to have it again dis year. Ambience is unchanged. Service is still lightning quick.. the staff is very courteous.. but everytime you go take some food, they would fold your napkin nicely again. so actually felt quite bad, coz ultimately i come back i unfold it. so fold for wad?? hahah. food was almost the same.. but they took out Oysters... and that single crustacean was sorely missed by me... =( nonetheless a very nice meal wif nice company and nice service staff. Pictures are below.. and are all taken by my Nokia N82 which incidentally is bought by Audrey. =) Really love the phone man.. 5.0megapixel camera with xenon flash.. ability to upload photos direct from my phone to Flickr. thats damn solid man!

last 3mins. wonder why we wait enthusiastically for a year for this day to come. hahaha
din do much today. just wanna say Thank you to all those that sms me, msn me and frenster or facebook me to wish me a hapy bday. thank you guys.. looking forward to friday coz audrey is going to go on leave and go out with me.! ciao!

Bday BBQ 22032008

Had a Bday bbq on saturday. wanted it to be small so only had 13 ppl including my family members. called the tkband clique over plus daniel. the bbq wad okay. food was just enuff, food was nice too! best part would be the presents i guess. i even think this year's presents are even beter den my 21st bday. haha. Audrey of course bought me a N82 and also a choc-a-bloc cake. the tkband clique bought me a braun buffel wallet, daniel and xueni gave me an ang bao and zq and yingying gave me a pen set. last BUT not least. my sister stephanie bought me a PSP Slim. WOW WOW.
Although its quite a wrong time to get it for me... haha but i really appreciate you spending like half your month pay buying that piece of plastic. hahaha. i also promised myself, audrey and my mum that i will NOT let the psp get into the way of my revisions. Slacked the whole of this week. quite guilty.. but tomolo's gonna be the day where i start my revisions full swing. screw the prelims. heres the real thing.! only have a few pictures taken with my N82. some more are in the camera itself, not uploaded yet. i'll have them posted when i upload them into my computer. meanwhile just sit back and drool at my presents. hahaha. lastly i wanna express my sincerest thanks to Audrey who helped me in the marinating, cooking and even the buying of cake(which was a surprise). Thank you dear.. and also thank you tng hui lin for your lovely present. haha. i think now u go google your name should appear liao. =P

short post. just to tell u guys.. N82 rocks! thank you Audrey for buying me such a wonderful phone.! =X shall post more and pics when im freee.

changed my phone!

I changed my phone today.. after pondering the last whole week doing research almost every night. i bought the Nokia N82. actually took me some guts to buy Nokia after the 6280 screwed up. but it was so depressing that S.E came up with phones that didnt have Wifi capabilities.. except the W960i... even 10 mins b4 buying.. i was thinking whether to get the N82 or the W960i. haha in the end the xenon flash and 5mp camera coupled with generally good reviews won me over. although the black one din come soon enuff.. i think im a happy user! and im amazed that i actually like dis little nokia. haha. kind of boliao.. so i now present to u the phones dat i have used since secondary 2!
The Nokia 5110. my 1st phone.. had Xpress-on covers(bascially covers to change colour). sold it to one of my band mate after a year. it weighs 170g! and had almost ZERO functions! haha tok abt antiques..
The nokia 3210.. the 1st nokias that came without the antenna. remember that this phone is like the beng's must-have phone. they will ahng it wif running lights and put ten thousand buzzers in it. hahaha i also call it the brick. it weighs 151g. slight improvement. haha
Ericsson T28. the 'highlighter' phone. this was DA BOMB last time. but like A BOMB. it blasts u off ten thousand miles when it explodes on u. smses was typed in a SINGLE line. can u imagine that. bought it TOGETHER wif my mum. a set cost SGD500. so 2 means 1k. wtf? weighs 83g though.
Nokia 3310. After timeless and countless visits to the m1 customer service and ericsson service centres. i gave up. got this phone instead.. works better.. one of the most reliable phones. and of course wif snake 2 to tide me thru JC lectures. hahaha weighs 133g wif the standard NiMh batt.

Nokia 6510. got this phone while at ang mo kio estate one of the shops. remember when my mum din wanna buy.. i did my trademark blackface and got it in the end. HAHAHAHA SPOLIT BRAT. buggy phone nontheless. weighs 84g.
Samsung X460. bought this phone for free i think. from M1. coz i couldnt stand it that the whole world is using colour phones except me.. (6510) also got it coz of army.. few phones without cameras that time.. although all were crappy vga cameras. haha. but when i wanted to ORD. i lost this phone at the bowling alley at Safra. was so bloody pissed. and even cursed the fella who stole my phone kena langa. who noes. maybe already langa-ed. =X weighs 75g
Nokia 8250. this is the most powderful phone. if i not wrong launched when i was in sec4. cost a bomb. but it works very well. i borrowed this from Audrey's dad to use as spare coz of SAF. weighs 81g

Nokia 6280. 1st Slider i bought. used concurrently wif the 8250 due to army. gave me tonnes of problems like completely not having any signals coming in and out. sliding mechanism also loosens after prolong use. weighs 115g


my 1st S.E! borrowed this phone from my sister when i went to taiwan. the music and almost everything made me love dis phone. bought it once daniel told me that he had a set. loved it very much even till now. but faded becoz the camera couldnt give me wad i wanted. weighs 116g.
