a special bday.

it happened 2 weeks ago.. audrey told me she was very busy during this period and couldnt take leave on my birthday... naturally i was kinda sad.. coz of all days.. shes busy on MY day. haha, but i was fine after that.. coz shes working hard for our future.. so thats that.

few days later.. daniel asked me, "eh where u going out wif audrey on your bday?"
KT:"no where la... she never take leave... she say she very busy dis period.."
D:"ok, den lets go eat kway chap at dunman food centre on your birthday for breakfast"
KT:"ok lor.. anyway i also got nothing on..."

den few days later my mum come discuss with me wad im gonna do on my bday. all ike rubbing salt.. so i said we just have a simple home-cooked meal lor.. den ask daniel to come over and eat. should be fine. all the way till my birthday, thats the plan from morning till night. or is it?

26th March 2009
audrey slept early on the 25th.. coz she had 'work'. she msged me in the morning 8.30am wishing me happy bday. daniel msged me 9+am to remind me of kway chap date. i slept till 11+am.. den went out with daniel.. ate kway chap and den went to collect his mother's IC at Leng Kee. headed back to Autobacs to windowshop. wow.. time flies.. b4 i know it its already 3+ and i needed to cut my hair!! or else audrey's so gonna scold me..
Daniel told me xueni wanted to go fren's chalet.. at NSRCC.. and asked me to tag along.. i was like ok... and since i was familiar wif that place. i even guided him to go there.
reaching the place, he switched off the engine. i was like"eh i tot drop off only.. ask me go there for wad sia.. i dun even noe xueni's frens.." but daniel egged me along and asked me to go in.
in that instant. it all HAPPENED. i saw my sister, my mum and AUDREY in the chalet!!

SURPRISEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow i got a shock of my life! according to audrey she planned it like months ahead and got everyone in the loop! credit to my mum and audrey coz they had to plan things when i go and bathe! haha. credit to daniel also. making up a shitload of crap and they all seem so credible!

i must admit this birthday is even better den my 21st! i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee surprises!! hahaha. audrey even called my gang of frens and shar, zh and aless.
feel so blessed!

Thank you dear for planning such a huge surprise for me.. the effort taken and of course the money.. im very thankful to have u!! and thank you mummy for cooking and marinating the bbq stuff. and also trying so hard not to let the cat out of the bag. last but not least, i wanna thank everyone who made dis surprise happen. NONE of the friends ever hinted on anything. T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U!!!

i did. and i did it all in the 1st 2 weeks of 2009. wad a wonderful start to my new year. other than that, i think dat my 2 weeks is relatively uneventful. haha, exams are coming. and im going crazy!!

i think i better put my thoughts on the recent 'not-so-current' affairs down. if not i will forget abt it.

China Milk Scandal

Shame on them again. time and time again, China has proved that cheap is not necessarily good. how many times have we heard dis phrase in hokkien? 'yu pi, yu chi, yu ai dua liap ni, ko ai zhao lui'? (want cheap, want fresh, want big breasts, still want change). its very sickening that these unscrupulous corporations actually do this kind of things. its quite sad right? im sure the Directors of the corporation dare not drink their own bloody milk they manufacture. i say the china govt should just life imprison these assholes and make them drink the tainted milk powder thruout the sentence! isnt it sad..? its like being a hawker and being afraid to eat wad u cook. its the same for China-made cars. look at those cheap Chery QQs. i shudder to imagine wad would happen if u crash in them. In short, they look for short term profits. they dun care who dies. who lives. they just want their profits. and they dun expect to be in the business for too long like Toyota or Honda. they just want their profits, get it and pack up. go into another short term business. Toy scandals, food scandals. wads next? maybe they put melamine in china-made fake crocs.QQ? yea right. Kill Kill

I actually hope i don't have to graduate next year, coz i think if i come out, i dunno who would want me. US is in deep shit. i remember last year's lecturer from the UK giving us revision lectures telling us, Europe was laughing at the US. damn. whos laughing now? i think the whole world is crying! Fannie Mae= Funny Meh? lets hope the bailout plan works.. but as of today. the markets are going down down down.

These Serang**n Gardens people are just damn irritating. not only are they elites, they are racists and whiners. complain complain complain. everyday complain. just one question to shut you all up. who the hell built your stupid houses? you think u built it yourselves? its those very people u all are complaing high and low about! yes, some of the foreign workers may become rowdy after drinks. but wad u expect man.. u all got money go to bars, pubs. they dun! they need to chill man. they work as hard as u all do. why dun u all just give them a chance? they are miles away from home.. put yourselves in their shoes man.. during the meet and greet session shown on news, it pains me.. to see these people acting like barbarians. challenging the poor MP standing in front. wad has happened? is dis the graciousness that your parents taught you? or is that the graciousness that u all are going to impart to your children? it doesnt mean that u got some money, u can push people around.. haiz..

Rise in prices.
Rise in Electricity. Check. Rise in Fixed line. Check. Rise in Public Transport. Check. ALL AFTER 1st Oct when GST credits given out! CHECK!!!! enough said. if u said thats its getting harder to breathe. u bet. coz we going to have SingAir. charge us for air. wahahahaha.

after i got my last paycheck, i gave my family a treat @ Tampopo. although the damage was quite siong, nonetheless worthwhile, noting that my family haven been going out on sundays ever since we have a maid. but now dat we dun have a maid. we still not going out! that time was mid-autumn festival so we walked by clarke quay to chill..

i ice skated for the 1st time.. dats abt all i guessed..

Audrey got me a new toy. i bought myself K2 Blades. WOOOHOOO. hopefully it wun disintegrate like the last time.. pictures up next

both audrey and i took leave from our( i mean her) busy work to take a break and smell the flowers. haha. we actually planned to go to the HSBC treetop walk at macritchie reservoir. but in the end we went to mount faber and walked all the way to Hort Park.

the walk up to mount faber was a killer. for me. audrey was so bloody hyped up like some little small girl urging her grandpa up the steep marang trial stairs. (im the old grandpa FYI). haha its sick man! i walk until my quads were like screaming. lol. things were much easier once we reached the top of mount faber. we trudged along the route with yellow foot prints and b4 we knew it, we hit henderson waves.



oh ya b4 audrey comes pulling my ears.. my sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet gf prepared cocktail sausages wrapped with melted cheeeeeeese and also made sandwiches wif peppercorn ham. wahaha. we gobbled the sausages all up when we hit the 'summit' of MOUNT faber (which is even shorter den hills in some countries).

we reached henderson waves. the TALLEST pedestrain bridge in singapore. haha played along the wooden waves.. think audrey did it the best. really like she surfing. did the jumping shots at the henderson waves sign too. i failed a couple. (coz the photographer was louyaaaaaaaaa) haha.

after henderson waves. we went in search of alexandra arch. the signs werent very clear.. and there not yellow foot prints to follow. haha. apparently to get to the AA, we had to walk dis forest trail. it was cool (to audrey). but dreadful to me. u see im afraid of heights. the trail was made of metal grilles and u can actually look down. much like adidas climacool. so the wind can blow from below. HELL IT WAS SCARY. i keep thinking how i was going to die if the structure gives way due to my weight. LOL.

after that we proceeded to Vivo. we caught a movie i would say thats the BLOODY WORSE MOVIE EVER. SPACE CHIMPS- ITS A SHOW FOR CHIMPS. holy shit. plot is zero. jokes are so lame u dun even wanna luff. and i spent 8.50 watching it!!! holy. guys out there. dun be fooled by the oh so cute chimps. that show is crap. dun even bother watching it on www.watch-movies.net!

after that we headed home to KOOOOON. tiring friday man... made me realise just how unhealthy i am. damn..
